Eastside Elementary School

During Hispanic Heritage Month, Eastside's Principal (pictured on the right, Mrs. Chiquila Wright) dedicated a fundraiser in honor of the Hispanic culture! With the assistance of Eastside's Art Teacher, Mrs. Dawn Lee, pictured on the left, a special t-shirt was designed and sold for the month. All of the proceeds were given back to the Mission Vision Foundation to further their work with the Annual Hispanic Festival held in downtown Cairo, Georgia. Ms. Silvia Salgado, pictured in the center, accepted the check on behalf of the Foundation.
