CHS NJROTC Annual Military Inspection

Cairo High School's ROTC program held its Annual Military Inspection (AMI) and and Pass-In-Review ceremony on Wednesday, January 26 in the CHS gymnasium, with Commander Escalante as a guest. This inspection consists of all 9th-12th graders participating in the ROTC program and is broken up into three different types of drills, such as Armed Exhibition, the Ten Commandments, and Colors.

The CHS Concert Band also participated in the event by playing the "Star-Spangled Banner" at the beginning of the ceremony and the "Valley Forge March" at its conclusion.

The following awards were presented: The "honor platoon" was 2nd platoon, and the top students with an outstanding score were Cadet Warez and Cadet Hood from 1st platoon; Cadet King, Cadet Bodor, and Cadet Dannels from 2nd platoon; followed by Cadet Little, Cadet Conyers and Cadet Singletary from 3rd platoon.

There were a total of eight seniors participating in their last AMI inspection. These students were Johnathan Amaya, Harrison Godwin, Alexander Harden, Gavin Hawthorne, Dominic Miller, Caylynne Norton, and Juan Pascual.
