School Starts August 2nd!
Our Transportation Department is excited to see our students August 2nd. Please check the interactive district map here on our website for questions or to confirm your school district.
For several years, Grady County Schools has been able to provide free breakfast and lunch for all Grady County Students and will again for the 2024-25 school year!
We are proud to announce that once again Grady County Schools will participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). This means that every student enrolled in our schools can enjoy breakfast and lunch at no charge, with no application required!
This program is an important part of our commitment to remove barriers to student learning and ensure all students have access to nutritious meals, which is essential for their academic success.
Families can still provide funds for a la carte food items.

** ATTENTION PARENTS AND GUARDIANS**
After redeterminations for Medicaid that ended in May, many students may have lost healthcare coverage, leaving them without necessary medications and treatment. PeachCare for Kids is a medical assistance program that provides healthcare coverage for Georgia children in low-income families. PeachCare and Medicaid currently provide over 1.9 million children with healthcare benefits and, for little to no cost, can help students and families who might find themselves without coverage.
Please review the memo linked below, which includes additional information along with resources you can share with families during back-to-school events like Open House and registration. Families need access to information regarding PeachCare now. Communicating the availability and links for application could provide families with life-saving information.
